Presenation nerves or public speaking anxiety is common. The fear of presenting or public speaking regularly tops polls of common fears, beating even death. It led Jerry Seinfeld to remark:- “According to most studies, people's number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death. Death is number two. Does that sound right? This means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you're better off in the casket than doing the eulogy.”
Presenation nerves and anxiety is something most people experience when they are to give a presenation. The best presenters and speakers today have experienced it, and many still do. They have used the presenation nerves as an incentive to do their best. Presenation nerves can be overcome by most people to become effective at public speaking and giving a presenation.
