Effective Presenation

An effective presenation and speech starts with thorough preparation. It helps to build confidence and also results in a better presenation. Here are some more presenation tips for effective preparation;-

- Know your topic thoroughly. If you have not mastered your topic you can not expect to master the audience. An audience can sense a superficial knowledge of a topic. Peresonal experience is preferable to "book" knowledge, but where you have gaps additional research should be done to fill them in.

- Use brief notes to help you keep on track with your presenation. Include the main points of your presenation. But don't have too much detail on your notes that you end up reading them.

- Know the first few sentences of your presenation very well. This will help you get started, which is the most stressful time of a presenation.
